Step back into history with a visit to the Horseless Carriage Museum, less than a 5 minute drive from Eganridge.

Horseless Carriage is a non-profit museum of early transportation and mechanical antiquities. Privately owned and operated by the Bennett family, the museum started as an attempt to preserve Canadian history. Through the years, the collection has grown to it’s present size and the Bennett family has decided to share their interests and collection with the public.

The museum has something that will interest and intrigue everyone, young or old, guy or gal !!

From the stunning display of some of Canada’s oldest running cars, to gas station memorabilia, curiosities and an 1890’s general store, it is an experience that will fascinate and educate!

Indulge yourself or someone special while shopping in our unique museum store. Choose from the selection of quality handmade crafts, everything from leather goods to quilts, knitting, carvings, jewellery and primitive dolls, just to mention a few !

A collection of antique scales will tempt you to sample the abundance of old fashioned candies as well as maple syrup, honey and homemade preserves!
